If you are interested in a career in health and social care, or are already working in the sector and want to consolidate your skills and experience with a formal qualification, our Foundation course is an ideal starting point.
Based at Pembrokeshire College, this two-year course combines taught modules with work-based learning to give you the best of both worlds.
You will learn about health and social care in a wide range of national and international contexts. You will explore topics such as social policy, public health, epidemiology, psychology, human biology and physiology, law and ethics relating to health, equality, and social justice.
The course follows the same modules as year one and two of our BSc Health and Social Care at Swansea, so on completion you have the option to progress to the final year of the degree programme and from there to further postgraduate studies and training schemes.
