Managing Our Working Environment
Swansea University recognises that only by analysing and regularly auditing our different environmental impact can we; set institutional targets, assess priorities and monitor trends, as well as identify performance improvements and gaps. With this in mind, the University has committed to a process of Environmental Management (EMS), the externally verified ISO 14001:2015 and EcoCampus accreditation.
The scope of the EMS covers the whole university estate – our 4 campuses and residential villages at Singleton Park, Bay Campus, Hendrefoilan Student Village and St David’s, Carmarthen. The scope also covers all areas of business, academic faculties, and operations.
