Pagoda Projects Internships in Vietnam

In addition to your 4 week internship in Vietnam, you'll benefit from:

• Students must be enrolled at Swansea University
• Students cannot be in the final year of study
• Postgraduate students can apply for funding but must provide evidence that their academic supervisor approves of their participation.
• International students should speak to International@CampusLife to check the impact of the work placement on their Student Route visa

Estimated cost to student:

• Approximately £1000 per student or
• Approximately £500 per WP eligible student

These estimated costs are based on: 

• Overall estimated cost: £3650
  • Programme cost for 8 weeks: £2750 plus
  • Estimated additional costs: £900 (based on assumed flight cost and visa costs)
• Funding of £2650 per student or £3050 per WP eligible student 
• Funding is available to support up to 10 eligible Swansea University students for the 4 week volunteering programme

Additional information

• Estimated additional costs were sourced in November 2023 and may decrease/increase. Students may also need to pay additional costs which are not outlined above.
• Funding can be made up using Taith, Turing and/or Go Global funding.
• Any students receiving external funding such as Santander or Florence and Don McGregor bursaries cannot also receive Go Global funding.
• All of the above figures are estimates and are subject to change.
• Any programme days beyond 31st August 2024 will not be funded
• If you fail to participate in the entire programme, you will be required to any funding received 
• A refundable deposit will also be invoiced by Pagoda Projects to students who have been allocated a place on the programme. Deposits are refunded at the successful end of the programme, deducting any cleaning fees or damage to the accommodation.
