About

Following completion of a qualifying law degree Scott embarked upon a career in management, whilst also completing postgraduate study at Cardiff University Law School, specialising in commercial law, intellectual property, alternative dispute resolution and corporate governance.

Scott has led teams of 150+ staff members and managed budgets, projects and contracts totalling over £50million. A number of his projects have been featured in publications, including Spotlight. After delivering several guest lectures to business students, across a range of areas, he returned to university to complete a PGCE in 2013. Scott was granted Qualified Teacher Status in 2014, having completed placements teaching law and business studies in secondary and further education settings. That same year he was appointed as a Lecturer at Swansea University and has held the positions of Deputy Programme Director and Enhancing Degree Outcomes Programme Lead. He has also supervised around 30 masters research projects to completion. Today, he is the departmental library lead.
