Dr Hamidreza Eskandari is a Lecturer of Business Analytics at Swansea University's School of Management. Previously he was an Associate Professor at Tarbiat Modares University and Research Scientist at Red Lambda Inc., Orlando, FL. Hamid received his PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems from University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. His research has appeared in the top journals used in Business School Research Rankings including International Journal of Production Research, Transportation Research Part A, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Operational Research Society, Journal of Heuristics, and other journals. During his PhD he served as a Research Associate in a couple of large projects funded by NSF and NASA-KSC. He is currently seeking applications for doctoral candidates in the areas of Business and Data Analytics.

  • “SBIR: Red Lambda Neuro-Pattern Classification System” project funded by the National Science Foundation; Developed an incremental unsupervised neural network, called neural foam, for real-time data clustering problems
  • “Feature Selection in Intrusion Detection” project; Developed a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm for combinatorial optimization problems
