• ASPM01 Ageing in a Global Context

  This module provides students with an introduction to population ageing as a national, regional and global phenomenon. It will help them gain an appreciation of its implications for the health, social care and social policy sectors in areas such as retirement, intergenerational relations and family. The module will also help students develop a critical appreciation of some of the key debates raised by population ageing in the wider global context.
