Kayleigh Nelson is a Research Officer in Swansea Trials Unit. She has worked in health services research since 2014. Before joining the Trials Unit, Kayleigh spent two years as an embedded researcher at the NHS Wales National Collaborative Commissioning Unit.
Kayleigh is primarily a qualitative researcher and has a background in health psychology. She specialises in improving the experiences of people with cancer and those that deliver that care. Kayleigh also has expertise in organisational aspects of health care delivery such as commissioning in Wales, the role of patients and the public in shaping health care services, and supporting a healthy workforce.
Kayleigh sits on the board of Health Services Research UK and represents early career researchers.
