Career Highlights

Research

To date, Kirsty has worked on a number of projects including a project funded by BMS/Pfizer alliance looking into the effect that bleeds have for people living with atrial fibrillation, who are prescribed anticoagulant medication. She has also recently joined a surgical study team which is currently investigating a surgical technique for permanent stoma formation surgery, which could possibly lower the risk of complications and hernia for patients. Finally, she has worked under the CI of a project looking into establishing current, and raising the profile of, skin cancer awareness among primary schools in Wales.
