Athena SWAN Silver Award Winners

The Athena SWAN Charter recognises and celebrates good employment practice for women working in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) in higher education and research.

Swansea University is committed to reduce gender inequalities in the advancement of academics’ careers and is already the bearer of a Silver Award. Within the University, the School of Health and Social Care is the first school to be distinguished with its own award.

We have received a silver Athena SWAN award from the Equality Challenge Unit (ECU), in recognition of our commitment to tackling gender inequality in higher education.
