Go Global with Swansea University
As a Swansea University student, there are many options available for you to gain international experience. Have you ever considered studying abroad for a semester or year as part of your degree? Or perhaps spending some of the summer on a volunteering programme or internship abroad? Follow the links below to search the variety of options available to you, depending on the course you are studying.
First year student?
If you are in 1st year in 2024/25 and are not already on a degree programme which includes a year abroad, but are interested in joining our waiting list for a year abroad in 2026/27, you can register your details on your waiting list. Please note, it is not possible to simply transfer degree scheme, you must apply for the year abroad via our waiting list process.
If you are in 1st year in 2024/25 and are already on a degree programme with a year abroad, make sure you watch our Year 1 year abroad information session - Zoom (Passcode: AbFzty8*)
Second year student?
If you are in 2nd year in 2024/25 and will be going on a Semester/Year Abroad in 2025/26, make sure you attend the Go Global WHAT HAPPENS NEXT session on Wednesday 19th February, 2-3pm in Room B, Fulton House on Singleton Campus. This event is also suitable for students from other years who are going abroad such as extended masters programmes and engineering semester abroad programmes. Students will receive an email invitation if they are required to attend.
