Students arrive at Swansea University at different points in the year, and as an institution, we need to consider how we welcome new and returning students at any time. One of the busiest times of the year for arrival is in September for the start of the new academic year, and we are recruiting volunteers for the period of Wednesday 15th – Sunday 19th September with peak levels of activity on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th.

A good welcome relies on both staff and students from across the University volunteering their time to help deliver a range of activity; from sign posting new arrivals and ensuring they receive a friendly Swansea welcome to meeting and greeting international students at the airport.
