- Night Tarawih prayer on both campuses. Please book your space here. Places are limited due to the COVID -19 restrictions, so please ensure you can attend before booking.
- The Listening Service is available for all students & staff. It offers a listening ear to whoever needs it and is completely confidential. Please email email@example.com to book
Ramadan and COVID Vaccinations:
Our Sheikh Mohsen El-Beltagi has been working with the Royal College of Pathologists and Swansea University Medicine to put together some information about receiving a vaccination during Ramadan. You can find the information here on their website. There is also valuable information on the COVID-19 virus generally, busting common myths and misconceptions, on the British Islamic Medical Association's website.
Update: COVID-19 and Religious Spaces:
Unfortunately, the prayer spaces on both campus' are currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Regular services and individual prayer within in the spaces have been cancelled for now, for the sake of the 2-metre distancing guidelines. The safety of our University community has to be our first priority during these unprecedented times, we hope you understand.
We know that not having these physical spaces available for religious observance is proving challenging for many. Please be assured that we will continuously review the situation and keep you informed of any developments.
In the meantime...
You can join our Muslim Chaplain via Zoom for weekly study, discussion and Quran recitations.
To sign up for these sessions on Mondays, Fridays or Saturdays please contact Mohsen El-Beltagi for more information.
For further support, please email the Faith@CampusLife team.
